Pros

  • A 16-inch screen with this much hardware, at a price that really stands out
  • 19.6 hours rated battery, so you're not chasing outlets when you're out
  • 16GB of memory keeps it from bogging down with docs and tabs left open
  • Two USB4 ports plus HDMI and USB-A — plug in without a dongle
  • Face login and a camera shutter: easy sign-in, easy privacy

Cons

  • ARM-based Windows means older software and drivers for specialty hardware can be hit or miss → Office, Chrome, Zoom and the other big apps run natively, so everyday use is fine
  • At about 4.1 lbs (1.88 kg) it's on the heavy side → if you're carrying it all day, every day, a lighter 14-inch is worth a look
