Pros & Cons

Pros

  • A 14-inch that comes in under a kilo at 0.98 kg (2.2 lbs) — easy to carry every day
  • A claimed 32 hours of battery, so you're reaching for the charger less often when you're out
  • OLED display, so photos and video come through with punchy color
  • Two USB-C ports plus HDMI and USB-A — you're not leaning on adapters
  • Face recognition login, so you're in about as fast as you open the lid

Cons

  • The CPU is the X1-26-100, at the modest end of the Snapdragon X range → for docs and web-centric work it handles things fine
  • It's Windows on ARM, so older software and drivers for specialized hardware can hit compatibility snags → Office, Chrome, Zoom and the other major apps already run natively, so everyday use is fine
  • It's OLED, but the resolution stops at 1920×1200 and 60Hz → at 14 inches text is still fine enough, and the OLED color advantage still shows
